Aircraft Charter

Put your aircraft to work when you're not flying it, or charter a jet for your next trip. We handle the bookings, the operations, and the accounting, so chartering is simple and the numbers are transparent.

Charter

Charter, Done the Right Way

Chartering well takes safety discipline, the right operators, and honest accounting. We bring all three so your aircraft earns without compromising how it's cared for.

Offset Your Costs

Place your aircraft on charter when you're not using it and turn idle time into revenue toward your operating costs.

Charter on Demand

Need a jet for a trip? We arrange the right aircraft for the mission, with the service you'd expect of your own.

Vetted Operators

We work only with established, safety-audited operators, your aircraft and your guests are in capable hands.

Transparent Revenue

Honest charter accounting, you see the bookings, the costs, and your share, every time.

Seamless with Management

Charter sits on top of your management program, so scheduling, crew, and maintenance stay coordinated.

You Stay in Control

Your aircraft, your rules, set availability, pricing guidance, and who flies, and we handle the rest.

How It Works

How a Charter Booking Runs

These are the stages a charter file moves through with us. Operator vetting sits before the quote, not after it, because an aircraft we would not put our own owner on does not belong in a proposal.

First Contact & Enquiry

The trip as you need it: route, dates and times, passengers and bags, aircraft preference, any special requirement — catering, pets, accessibility, cargo, medical — and how flexible the dates or airports can be.

Qualification & Trip Request

We record what kind of arrangement this is: on-demand, jet card or block hours, group or cargo, or wholesale. Sometimes the honest answer at this stage is that we are not the right fit, and we say so.

Client KYC / AML & Terms

Client due diligence and sanctions screening before a booking is confirmed, and our terms agreed in writing.

Operator Sourcing & Vetting

We source aircraft for the mission and complete a signed vetting checklist on the operator before the option reaches you. What is on that checklist is set out below.

Quote & Proposal

Written options with an all-in price each, and the terms attached to it. What a quote from us has to state is set out below.

Booking & Contracting

Booking confirmed and contracted against the quoted terms, with the deposit and payment schedule as agreed.

Trip Execution & Duty of Care

The passenger manifest and APIS details — full names as they appear in the passport, nationality, passport number and date of birth — are collected ahead of departure, and the trip sheet and flight brief go out to everyone who needs them.

Post-Trip, Invoicing & Feedback

The invoice reflects the trip that was flown, and we ask what the experience was actually like — including when it was not what we promised.

Operator Vetting

What We Check Before an Operator Is Offered to You

Every operator on a charter file goes through the same checklist, and it is signed by the person who ran it.

The Checklist

  • A valid Air Operator Certificate covering this aircraft, this route and this kind of operation — not merely a valid certificate
  • Hull and liability insurance adequate for the trip, with the certificate obtained and the right parties noted on it
  • An independent safety rating or audit — ARGUS, Wyvern or IS-BAO — reviewed where one is required
  • Accident and incident history reviewed
  • Crew qualified, current, and within their duty and rest limits for the trip as scheduled
  • Aircraft airworthy, with airworthiness directive and service bulletin status acceptable
  • Sanctions and ownership screening completed on the operator itself, not only on you

What a Quote From Us States

  • Whether PassionJet is acting as your agent or as principal on this trip
  • The aircraft or category offered, and the basis on which the operator is providing it
  • An all-in price, not a headline hourly rate
  • What that price includes, and what may still be charged on top
  • The date the quote expires
  • The deposit and the payment terms
  • The cancellation and change terms, and the assumptions the price depends on

Gaps

What This Page Does Not Tell You

Charter is an area where vague wording does real damage, so where we do not have something written down we would rather say so than phrase around it. Ask, and you get an answer in writing before you book.

Open questions for us, not for this page:
  • Whether PassionJet holds its own Air Operator Certificate, or arranges every charter with certificated third-party operators — and, where an owner's aircraft is placed on charter, whose certificate it flies under.
  • What we charge, and whether our margin is disclosed to you when we act as principal rather than as your agent.
  • Which independent safety rating we require as a minimum, and in which cases we treat one as required.
  • Our standard cancellation and change terms, before you are looking at a specific quote.
